Richard Pervos MD

Dr. Richard Pervos

Dr. Richard Pervos received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1975 from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. He went on to earn a Master of Science in biology also from U. of I. in 1976. Following completion of his Masters degree, Dr. Pervos managed a research lab at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago. His research investigated the relationship between x-rays and the development of thyroid cancer. He co-authored two publications on this topic. He then attended Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago and graduated in 1982. While a student there he was appointed clerkship chairman and sat on the admissions committee. At graduation, he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Honor Society.

Dr. Pervos completed his training in pediatrics at Lutheran General Hospital in 1985. During his final year there he was appointed Chief Resident in Pediatrics. Since finishing his training he has been in private practice, and in 1989 he established Sanders Court Pediatrics. Dr. Pervos is Board Certified in pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Since the practice opened, it has grown to a group of eight practitioners and added a second location in Arlington Heights in 2001.
Dr. Pervos grew up in the Chicago area. He is married, has two daughters, and currently lives in Buffalo Grove where he is an involved member of the community.

Steven Schraiber MD

Dr. Steven Schraiber

Dr. Steven Schraiber received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana in 1986. He then attended medical school at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, graduating in 1990. He went on to complete his training in pediatrics at Lutheran General Hospital in 1993. Dr Schraiber is Board Certified in pediatrics, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Schraiber grew up in the Chicago area and currently lives in Deerfield with his wife and three children. He enjoys biking and sailing with the family.

Practice Philosophy: Prevention is the best medicine. This empowers families to have an active role in their care. Dr. Schraiber finds the practice of pediatrics to be enjoyable and fulfilling.

Judy Garcia MD

Dr. Judith Garcia

Dr. Judith Garcia graduated from the University of Illinois in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science in physical therapy. She practiced as a physical therapist for two years before returning to school at the University of Illinois College of Medicine. She then completed her pediatric training at Lutheran General Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident in Pediatrics in her final year. She is Board Certified in pediatrics, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Garcia has been in private practice since completing her training in 1987. She has been with Sanders Court Pediatrics for nearly 20 years. She is originally from the western suburbs and currently lives in Glenview with her husband and three college aged children.

Renee Salvino MD

Dr. Renee Salvino

Dr. Renee Salvino graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then went to the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago where she graduated in 1983. She completed her training in pediatrics at Lutheran General Hospital and is Board Certified in pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Salvino has been in private practice since completing her training, and has been in practice in Arlington Heights since 1991. She has been active on many committees at both Lutheran General Hospital and Northwest Community Hospital. She was Chief of Pediatrics at Northwest Community in 2002 and 2003. After a break from administrative committees, she is currently Vice-Chair of Pediatrics at NCH.

Dr. Salvino is a native of the Chicago area and has lived in Prospect Heights for over 20 years with her husband and two sons. Practice Philosophy: Pediatric care is a team effort between the child's parents and the pediatrician.

Amee Bass MD

Dr. Amee Bass

Dr. Amee Bass received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois in 1992. She attended medical school at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago. Following medical school, Dr. Bass completed her training in pediatrics at Lutheran General Hospital.

During her final year of training at Lutheran General, Dr. Bass served as Chief Resident in Pediatrics. She is Board Certified in pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Bass has been in practice with Sanders Court Pediatrics since she completed her training. She is originally from the Chicago area. She is married and has three small children.

Sofia Salituro MD

Dr. Sofia Selbka Salituro

Dr. Sofia Selbka Salituro attended Loyola University Chicago's Honors Program and received a Bachelor of Arts in English. She graduated from Loyola Summa Cum Laude as a member of Phi Beta Kappa in 1996. She then attended medical school at Loyola's Stritch School of Medicine where she graduated in 2001. Dr. Salituro completed her pediatric training at Lutheran General Hospital in 2004. She is Board Certified in pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

She has been in practice with Sanders Court since completing her training. She is originally from the Chicago area. Dr. Salituro is married and has three daughters.

Practice Philosophy: As a pediatrician, Dr. Salituro enjoys educating families and advocating for the health and well being of children.

Ansley Feldman MD

Dr. Ansley Yellen Feldman

Dr. Ansley Yellen Feldman received her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Georgia, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1996. She then attended medical school and received her MD degree from Emory University in 2001. She completed her training in pediatrics at Lutheran General Hospital in 2004. Dr. Feldman is Board Certified in pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Feldman has been in practice with Sanders Court Pediatrics since completing her training. She is originally from Savannah, Georgia and currently lives in Deerfield with her husband and two children.

Practice Philosophy: Dr. Feldman is eager to partner with patients and their families with education that will help them to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Dr. Sarah Breen graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology.  She then attended medical school and received her DO degree from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove in 2008.  Dr. Breen completed her pediatric residency at Lutheran General Children's Hospital in 2011.  She is Board Certified in pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.  Dr. Breen has been practicing in the north suburbs since she completed her training and joined Sanders Court Pediatrics in January 2012.

Dr. Breen currently resides in the Northern suburbs with her husband and two young sons.

Dr PowellDr. Jonathan Powell

Dr. Jonathan Powell graduated from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin in 1992. He then attended Rush Medical College in Chicago. Dr. Powell completed his pediatric training at Lutheran General Hospital. He is board certified in pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. His clinical interests are newborns (especially first time parents), child development, and weight management.

In addition to working in private practice, Dr. Powell has served the community through working in Chicago area health clinics and with underprivileged youth. He has also spent time in Nigeria and Bolivia delivering care for the underserved population.

Dr. Powell lives with his wife and two daughters in the north suburbs and enjoys playing soccer and softball.

Practice Philosophy: I have the privilege of caring for a parent’s most precious possession, their children. It’s my job to help educate and empower parents to take an active role in their children’s health.

Susan Tuckey CPNPSusan A. Tuckey

Susan A. Tuckey, RN, MSN, ND, CPNP, graduated from Northern Illinois University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science in nursing. She graduated from Rush University in Chicago with a Master of Science in nursing and then a Nursing Doctorate in 1991. She is a certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.

Sue Tuckey has been practicing as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner since 1991, including time as a diabetic educator in an endocrinology practice. She is a preceptor for the Rush University and the University of Illinois-Chicago Pediatric Nurse Practitioner programs. She has been with Sanders Court Pediatrics since 2004.

Sue Tuckey is a Chicago area native, and currently lives in the northwest suburbs with her husband and four teenage children.
Practice Philosophy: As a pediatric nurse practitioner, Sue enjoys providing education, support and healthcare counseling to children and their families during well child exams and sick visits.
